Getting Ready For The Launch

As any one who has started a new endeavor knows you have to start some where. We started Creek Bottom Trading Company in the height of the COVID pandemic. We didn’t know where it would take us and still to this day we aren’t sure how this journey will go.  We had the idea to start with knitting and CSM supplies and quickly realized that we had a much bigger problem on our hands.  We each loved sooo many things.  We love working with our hands and creating and just trying new things.  So every day we tried something new.  And what do you know. We weren’t terrible at any of them. In fact we find that not only do we love creating but we’re pretty good at it.  So we decided to to try our hand at a hand made crafts business.  Then we needed a name.  Well Red Barn (anything) was taken. Brown barn to.  I didn’t care for Black or Green Barns lol so we looked for a name that would not only describe what we love but also what we do.  We spend a ton of time Rock Hounding and often you find the best material in a creek bed. Especially after the water has been high and has moved all the materials around.  So Creek Bottom seemed like a great start.  But we didn’t want to limit our selves to just rocks and since we love sooo many things we and we love to trade not only items but ideas and skills we thought that Creek Bottom Trading Co. would be perfect.  Today if you can find us you may see us planning our next adventure. Stories that we can share with you our friends and family.  Creek Bottom Trading Co. is not just a company it’s a family.
