Agate agate agate where art thou Agate

This last weekend we went to crystal creek and let me tell you we had an AMAZING adventure. The crystal creek agate beds are some of the worlds best places to find blue agate materials.  You can find not only whole Thunder eggs but many smaller agate pieces and tons of semi formed agate materials.  We have been back here twice and have had wonderful luck each time. We love it here.  Being an almost 4hour trip we try to get down there when we will have lots of time to enjoy the digging. Seen here you can see but a small sample of our haul.  Some of this was dug up by us and other parts were from discarded piles of other diggers.
